Quality Assurance Reviews Signal Rising Standards in Ta’allum Academies (February 2019)

Ta’allum Education Department have conducted a series of intensive review visits in the 3 Academies. The Reviews were designed to support the schools in their final preparations for their upcoming WASC Accreditation Visits and to utilise for the first time the new Ta’allum Quality Assurance framework. This sets expected and aspirational benchmarks for Academy standards.

A team of Reviewers, led by Dr Mohammed Saefan as the Lead, visited each school in turn to all aspects of education provision with the key spotlight on the quality of Teaching and Learning. 

Director of Education Dr Mohammed Saefan remarked ‘Quality Assurance is a most important aspect of the Ta’allum Education Department’s function. We aim to challenge and support our schools to develop and sustain excellence.’ The reports arising from the visits should give confidence to the schools. Developing strengths were highlighted and recommendations for further improvement were made.
